You can click and download my bio below, however, I am much more interested to hear your story and to learn about your vision, your challenges, and how I might be able to guide or encourage you.
I am a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the world's largest professional organization in land, property (real estate), and construction. With over thirty years of multi-jurisdictional experience in global real estate, infrastructure investment, development, management, and corporate governance, I bring a wealth of expertise to the table.
In addition to my citizenship in the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Republic of Ireland (European Union), I value the cultivation of strategic connections and friendships with leaders around the world, further enhancing my ability to navigate international landscapes effectively.
My greatest and most cherished asset is Karen, my wife of over 30 years, who as well as being the best wife and mother is a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry and a Chartered Chemist.
During the international Covid pandemic and ensuing economic crisis, we were immensely proud of Karen's efforts as she helped coordinate an international collaborative of multi-disciplinary scientists seeking to identify the unique signature of Covid using mobile technology.
If you retain my services, you will gain the insight of this incredible woman.
While some have been kind enough to say "inspiring," I would say I am an "enthusiastic" public speaker. I have spoken to large and small groups in countries around the world, and on television, radio, and the blogosphere! When invited, I seek to "educate, entertain, and emote" and to deliver a blend of Irish wit and wisdom. I have been told I am what is known in the Irish tradition as a "Seanachai" - a word that describes the role of an elder and story-teller who passes on values, rich oral (lately aural) history, and knowledge to following generations.
I have guided national and international leaders in government and the corporate arena to write and prepare brief remarks, keynote addresses, public policies, and critical presentations - their "State of the Union" if you like - and I would welcome an opportunity to help you tell your story.
In addition to my consulting services, I am a co-founder and host of the diplomatiqueβ’ global round table series that brings peer-groups of leaders together in stunning locations in cities around the world including London, Vienna, Abu Dhabi, New York, Malibu, New Delhi, Atlanta, and Dublin.
Distinguished moderators for the diplomatique β’ 2024/25 series include Ambassador and former Governor, US Senator and Congressman Sam Brownback, Lord Nat Wei of Shoreditch, General Julie Bentz, and The Rev. Dr. Dean Helen Easterling Williams.
I am honored to advise leaders of our nation, as well as those of allied and most favored nations, and of corporations, family offices and foundations.
I have held public office and served enough leaders to understand, the call to leadership is a lonely one and one that requires self-sacrifice and more than a little investment from those closest to you.
I liken my role to that of a cup-bearer, a term that seeks to convey I am privileged to serve as a trusted advisor, confidant, and sometime pastor.β¬β¬

There aren't too many people who can cite vast experience in city regeneration that has been forged in the fire of conflict or the aftermath of wars and terrorist attacks.
The ability to respond in the midst of challenging circumstances is the sign of a good leader. However, an even greater mark of distinction is when the leader has the foresight to prepare for crisis and calamity, and to establish business continuity plans, and to ensure they and their team are ready to respond.
